Lightning Returns Sword-tutorial

I cut the basic shape using 4mm thick masonite board (hard board) and painted it black.  I used 2mm thick craft foam for the blade layers and 3mm thick craft foam for the other pieces.  I painted all pieces with 3 coats of mod-podge (you can also use wood glue).  Then I spray painted them before gluing them onto the sword.  The hardest part was drawing the pattern.  Just try to look at the action figure to see what goes where.
